Educational Programs

The Authority has an ongoing scholarship program that so far has benefited over 300 student from six Universities (University of Liberia, United Methodist University, African Episcopal University, Cuttington University, Stella Maris Polytechnic) and eight high schools (private and government across the country). We believe that supporting education is one of the pillars of our overall mission to transform Liberia into a Maritime Nation. As we develop various industries within the Maritime sector creating jobs, our young people must be equipped to carry on the baton of development. In addition to merit-based scholarships, the Authority empowers communities through the renovation of schools that are in much need of update, infrastructure and equipment.
